On 13th December 2006, Michael Rose from Devon & Cornwall Police provided
training for the team on how DCRO can assist the police
in serious crime investigations.
Mike made the team aware of how the Police track criminals
using statistical tendencies and similarities.
He also highlighted crime scene contamination as a potential
issue and described how the DCRO team should act around a
potential crime scene. We were also made aware of the protocols
and time scales involved with Police searches and when DCRO
might be called.
We were most grateful to Mike for the training evening and
hope that DCRO could be of assistance to the police in future
crime scene searches.
